Business and licensing
The field of business is regulated primarily by two laws - the Law on Business and Commercial Code. Free enterprise is the same, which does not require evidence of professional or special qualifications. Types of commercial companies
The most common legal form of companies registered in the Czech Republic (and not just our citizens) is sro, an analogue of our limited liability company (LLC). The Code also provides for such forms as joint stock company and cooperative. Specific legal forms are the so-called "open commercial company" and "Limited partnerships. Under Czech law, the founders of a limited liability company may be from one to fifty people, the minimum registered capital of two hundred thousand crowns, while the proportion of each founder should be not less than twenty thousand crowns.
